Here at The Grooming Shed your Dog is very important to us. Because we care, we want to ensure you that every effort is made to make your dog’s visit here with us to be as pleasant as possible. Unfortunately, occasionally grooming can expose hidden medical problems or sometimes further aggravate a current one. This can happen during or after grooming.

Should The Grooming Shed determine, at its sole discretion, that veterinary care is required, I agree to pay all associated fees and costs. If my dog’s vet is not readily accessible, The Grooming Shed is authorised to use its chosen vet.
The Grooming Shed will not be responsible for any conditions or problems discovered during grooming.
The Grooming Shed will not be responsible for any accidental death of the pet(s) due to the nature of any pre-existing health condition.
There is always the possibility an accident could occur. Grooming equipment is sharp, even though we use extreme caution and care in all situations, possible problems could occur including cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails, etc. In most cases this can happen when a pet is wiggling or moving around.
The Grooming Shed shall not be liable for any after-grooming effects of de-matting clipping or brushing procedures or problems uncovered on a badly matted or otherwise neglected coat including, but not limited to itchiness, skin redness or self-inflicted irritations/abrasions from excessive external rubbing or scratching.
I understand that time and costs associated with de-matting are unpredictable and subject to the particular condition of my dog; consequently, I agree to pay whatever fees are incurred as a result of de-matting. Whether a dog is “matted”, furthermore, is at the sole determination of The Grooming Shed.
I agree to inform The Grooming Shed if my dog has ever bitten any human or another dog or have any aggressive tendencies. I understand and agree that I will be held solely liable for any harm, injury, or property damage caused by my dog.
The Grooming Shed reserves the right to discontinue or refuse to groom a dog in an unsatisfactory state, including but are not limited kennel cough. Behavioural issues, fleas, ticks or other parasites.
Should I have to cancel my dog’s appointment, I agree to notify The Grooming Shed no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Any missed appointments may incur a fee of 50% estimated grooming charges.
If appointments are continuously missed Pre-Payment will be required before another appointment is booked. We understand there may be emergency situations and will work with you, but not on a continued basis.
I hereby release The Grooming Shed from any responsibility for the above and any and all medical problems that may be uncovered and/or may occur during the grooming process.
